Scheduling for LinkedIn

Post like you have a team.

Write your posts when the ideas come. MurmurMill sends them to LinkedIn at the time you choose, in your time zone, and tells you the moment anything goes wrong.

Every kind of LinkedIn post, queued.

Text, links, photo sets and documents all go through the same composer and the same queue.

  • Text

Up to 3,000 characters, the most LinkedIn allows in a post.

  • Links

Paste a URL and MurmurMill fills in the title, description and image. Upload your own thumbnail if the page has none.

  • Images

One image or up to twenty in a single post, each with its own alt text.

  • Documents

PDF, PowerPoint or Word files up to 100 MB, shown on LinkedIn as a swipeable carousel.

It goes out, or you hear about it.

A schedule is only useful if you can stop thinking about it. MurmurMill watches every post until LinkedIn has it.

Temporary errors are retried.
LinkedIn has bad minutes. When it does, MurmurMill tries again instead of dropping your post.
Failures land in your inbox.
If a post cannot go out, you get an email with the post, LinkedIn’s reason, and a way back to retry it.
Expiring connections are flagged early.
LinkedIn sign-ins run out. Your dashboard warns you a week ahead, so you can reconnect before anything is due.
Your clock, not the server’s.
Pick 9:00 and it posts at 9:00 where you are. Times already past are refused, so nothing goes out by surprise.

Three steps, then it runs.

  1. 01

    Connect LinkedIn

Sign in with LinkedIn once. MurmurMill never sees your password.

  2. 02

    Write and pick a time

Draft the post, attach what it needs, and choose when it should go out.

  3. 03

    Get back to work

MurmurMill publishes on time. Your dashboard shows what is queued, what is live, and what needs you.

Fill the week in one sitting.

Write Monday’s, Wednesday’s and Friday’s posts over one coffee. They go out on their own while you work.
